Acik Piyasa Islemleri (API): Türk lirasi karsiliginda; menkul kıymetlerin kesin alim satimi, geri alim vaadi ile satimi(repo), geri satim vaadi ile alimi (ters repo) islemleridir.
Arbitraj: Herhangi bir menkul kiymetin, dovizin veya malin esanli olarak bir piyasadan alinip diger bir piyasada satilarak (kiymetlerin birbiriyle degistirilmesiyle) elde edilen kar islemleridir.
Basit Faiz Orani: Bir yatirimin, yatirim donemi suresince sadece anaparanin kazanildigi faiz oranidir.
Bilesik Faiz Orani: Bir yatirimin, yatirim donemi boyunca kazandigi faiz ile birlikte tekrar yatirima tabi tutmasiyla elde edilen getiriyi gosteren faizdir. Kisacasi, faizinde faiz kazanmasidir.
Bono: Vadesi 1 yildan kisa olan, cikaran kurum tarafindan belirlenen vade sonunda belirli bir bedelin odenmesinin taahüt edildigi menkul kiymetlerdir.
Economic Term-Concepts
Open Market Operations (OMO): The central bank manipulates liquidity levels by buying or selling securities. if the central bank want to increase the liquidity levels in the economy, it buys the securities or vice versa.
Arbitrage: The simultaneous buying and selling of securities, currency, or commodities from a market to other markets in order to take the advantage of differing prices for the same asset.
Simple Interest Rate: During the investment period, it is a interest rate that is acquired on a principal.
Compound Interest Rate: it is a interest that calculated on the initial principal and also on the accumulated interest of previous period of a deposit.
Bond: it is a dept investment(security) where an investor loans money to a corporate or government which borrows the funds for a defined period of time at a fixed interest rate.
